Student Scholarships & Educational Enrichment
Scholarships for Belton High School Students
Each spring, the Belton Educational Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors who will be continuing their education.
Thanks to continued support from our generous donors, each school year we award over $14,000 to Belton High School graduating seniors.
BEF offers multiple scholarship opportunities:
- Belton Educational Foundation Renewable Scholarships,
- Belton Educational Foundation One-time Scholarships,
- Sandy Hamilton Memorial Scholarship,
- Charles F. Pitts Memorial Scholarship,
- Nathanial S. Holle Memorial Scholarship,
- Troy Shaw Memorial Scholarship,
- Art and Nora Hoyt Scholarship.
Scholarships are available to any Belton High School Senior with plans for continued education.
Recipients are announced at the Belton High School Scholarship and Awards Ceremony in April.

Dual Credit Tuition Assistance
The Belton Educational Foundation offers AP and Dual Credit Tuition Assistance Funds for students at Belton High School who are enrolled in AP and dual credit courses who without assistance would be unable to pay tuition of test costs to earn college credit for the course(s).
Recipients of funding are chosen based on teacher/counselor recommendation, financial need, and written essay.
Student Leadership Opportunities
BEF helps to fund student leadership opportunities for students, so that students can learn leadership skills to bring back to the BHS student body and our community. Some examples of funded experiences include Missouri Boys State, Missouri Girls State, and Missouri Scholars Academy.
